Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that I don't really follow the news that closely so I didn't know about the scale of the tragedy. But your recent game giveaway was quite informative and inspired me to donate to charity for helping the recovery. I hope the donation helps and am wishing for a speedy recovery for everyone impacted by the earthquake.

Ah okay. :)

And FYI you don't actually have to sign up for the newsletter to get this comic. Not sure if that's what you were going for but it does mean the newsletter part gets kind of lost without some kind of note or someting.

Hi there. I noticed this was free as part of a sign up gift sale but it didn't seem to say what you were supposed to be signing up for.

FYI it's claimable for the next week.

If you were still having trouble buying it, Foreboding Tales is free to claim for a couple of days. So maybe you could get it that way if purchasing doesn't work.

FYI This game, Foreboding Tales, is free for a couple of days.

Hi there. I was checking out your cool looking pixel assets when I noticed that 16x16 Pixel Art Dungeon Tileset from this sale (https://itch.io/s/66485/all-old-assets-free) seems to be restricted. So I was just wondering what's with that. Anyway, cool stuff and thanks for the sale.

FYI, if for some reason you haven't managed to acquire the game yet, it's free for the next few days.

FYI the game is free at the moment so no need to spend anything for volume one if you want to try it out.

Ah, that's unfortunate. :(

But maybe it will be free again. One can only hope.

That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. :D

Hi there. Thanks for the assets. But I was wondering what's going on with the reupload warning you put up? Seems ominous.

Thank you very much. That's super cool. I really appreciate the generosity. Have a wonderful new year. :)

It's a fun game. I certainly had a good time playing it. I'd recommend it. Though is it just me or do enemies spawn slightly less from above the character.

I did notice one thing that seems to be a glitch. If you get chest when you have a mostly full set of items it will sometimes give you new items so that you end up with more then the maximum number of secondary items. I only noticed it happen with chests that give out multiple items though.

Thank you but I was unfortunately too busy to check itch.io for a while and someone else grabbed the key. If you are willing to give away another key you can send it to [e-mail deleted] to insure that I get it. But if not then I fully understand and thank you very much for making the attempt in the first place.

FYI, stuff you get in a free sale doesn't seem to give out steam keys. If you want to give those out you'll probably have to figure out some way to do that manually.

Ah, it must be the weapon evolutions. Thanks for the help.

Hi there. I seem to be missing five items in the collection. Any hints on how to get them.

FYI if you don't have it already the game is free for about a day. Hopefully you can claim it.

Awesome, thanks. I really appreciate it. And thanks again for making and giving away a very nice game.

Any chance you could make this claimable for the sale. Not a big deal but I find it a bit more convenient to be able to download stuff again instead of having to store a copy locally.

In any case, this this is pretty cool. Great job and thanks the generous giveaway.

Cool, thanks for the clarification and good luck with the game development. :D

You're welcome.

Ah. Well thanks for the confirmation and good luck with your future game development.

Thanks, this looks pretty cool. Also I was wondering. Is this a sequel to this other game https://mastermed.itch.io/unforgiven-shattered-souls ?

One question, are the steam/humble bundle versions going to remain the same as the itch.io version?

No luck with the steam key. There's actually another developer that made their game free and is giving out steam keys right now (https://roomahgaming.itch.io/moec). They ended up having to give out the steam keys manually. So maybe that's just the way it is for steam keys and games on sale for free.

That's weird. Well good luck figuring things out.

I don't think you get the option to request a key if you get something for free. At least I haven't seen it show up in any games with steam keys that were available for free in the past (unless I later bought the game and even then it wasn't on the same download page as the free claim).

I think the artist is Gillpanda.

FYI the game's free for a day. Grab it while it's hot and give it all the attention it deserves.

Thanks for the go ahead, that's very generous. :)

Hi there. I noticed your game is on sale and I'm trying to be considerate given the description you wrote. so I wanted to ask two things before I spread this info around on a game sharing discord which probably means it gets released into the wild.

First, do you mind if it gets out? If you don't want the sale being widely known public knowledge I'll keep it to myself.

Second, have you tried coupon codes as described here? https://itch.io/updates/coupon-codes-for-sales-bundles I assume you have from the description of the sale but just in case you missed it.

Either way, it's a nice game. I hope you keep up the good work.

Cool, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the explanation. :)

Oh man, why did you delete the game? It looked pretty cool.

Is the demo on steam the same one that used to be here? I find steam annoying at times but I guess I'll use it if I have to.

FYI if you still have no money you can get the game since it's on a free sale at the moment.

It's because the file has an extra cost. When you claim a game on itch.io I'm pretty sure you only get the files at the base cost of the game ignoring sales. Since the standalone version normally costs 1$ more than the base price of 0$ it's not included in your personal download page.

But, as you found, once the game in claimed if you then use the buying button again you go to a generic download page where the sale price is applied to all the stuff and you can, for example, download the standalone version.

At least that's been my experience on the website.
